Overview

Kverizvàníhg Se was founded durring the late 13th century in summer of the year 1163, by Jordan Lloyd. The establishment of the new community went well, with no major obsticles durring construction.

Kverizvàníhg Se was built using the conventions of Tauric durring the late 13th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Kverizvàníhg Se is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature delicute timber framework hidden behind layer upon layer of finly ground plaster bleached to an almost glossy white sheen, with green clay tiled roofs and decorative brass-leafed trim. Even the smallest, poorest looking structures appear to be expencive thanks to the extreem elegence of the organic shapes and paterns going into their lofty, spire-y, vagly gothic designs. The more well off folks live in identicle homes, save for even shiner trim and a more whimsical appearance to their structures flowing forms.

Kverizvàníhg Se is buildings are arranged arround a network of spacious cobblestone streets which form a diamond shaped grid, where each diamond verries in size given the proximity of the paralell streets forming each section. The ocasional smaller diamond has been used to construct a park, plaza, and other communal structures. The town is protected by a renforced stone fence which sits atop earthwork defences, for some of the best inexpencive defences a town of Kverizvàníhg Se's size could have. Kverizvàníhg Se's well-designed, yet cheep are in an unremarkable state. To some, this is the ideal sate for defences to be in. In need of absoutly nothing, and ready to serve the town as needed.

Kverizvàníhg Se has the unmistakable air of a town on its last legs. Everything is a bit slipshod and ramshackle. Everyone is at work, or drinking. No one has anything in their eyes other than fear and despair. Whatever industry once fueled Kverizvàníhg Se ’s existence has dried up and the town is drifting down the stream of history as it dries up. Likely due to this, Kverizvàníhg Se is, in a word, disorder. People seem to be allowed to do as they please with little harmoney to anything. It feels less like a town, and more like a spot people just happened to have homes. One cannot help but wonder what Kverizvàníhg Se was like during the glorydays.

Cultural Notes

Kverizvàníhg Se's town hall was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is known primarily for its use of abstraction and simplicity. Clean lines, right angles, and primary colors characterized this aesthetic and art movement expressed via architecture and paintings. Its design ethos allows only primary colors and non-colors, only squares and rectangles, only straight and horizontal or vertical lines. Vertical and horizontal lines are positioned in layers or planes that do not intersect, thereby allowing each element to exist independently and unobstructed by other elements. These seemingly impossible principals for an architectural style coalesces into structures which most experts find hard to put into words. It is not that their geometry is impossible, but rather the style's attempt at producing works only describable visually was most successful..

In Kverizvàníhg Se there are unidentifiable people in the fog, but it seems to be okay.

The Flea, Giant near Kverizvàníhg Se are known to be almost tame, such that they can be put to domestic use.

Kverizvàníhg Se's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in winter and involves bloodletting to channel Transmutation energies of tier 2 via singing.

Points of Interest

Many of Kverizvàníhg Se’s structures date back to the ancient past and a long-vanished culture. They have unique architectural traits, perhaps being made of some strange substance or with uncanny qualities. The locals find them too useful or too durable to destroy, but the buildings often have unpleasant little surprises in their under-explored corners, and there may be greater structures still buried by long ages beneath Kverizvàníhg Se’s streets.

POI

History

In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the early 2nd century, Kverizvàníhg Se was attacked by soldiers from another nation, waging a greater campaign. The details of the conflict are hazy at best due to many conflicting accounts. What is known is Kverizvàníhg Se lost 281 people, 111 livestock, and 43 buildings. The conflict ended after roughly 120, when members of Kverizvàníhg Se's militia enacted an operation to deliver supplies to a particular irregulars group. The operation was complicated by a significant percentage of the militia choose to go abandon the operation and return home. The conflict ended with needing to break through the enemy's lines, which ended in a crushing defeat for Kverizvàníhg Se's forces. The war is remembered in legend by Kverizvàníhg Se's bards, historians, and legend keepers.
